Internet Marketing Courses, Motivational Tapes, and MP3s All Turn Your Car Into a Rolling University

Chances are if you have a job (especially one you’re trying to get out of) you spend a bit of your time in your vehicle driving to and from work. In my case, I drive a Ford Excursion -- yes an extremely big SUV and yes I am responsible for all the worlds’ problems because I drive a big vehicle.

But I digress. I drive about 2 hours a day, and that works out to over 520 hours a year. That is a lot of time; I think it brakes down to 65 days of work if you work 8 hours a day! Wow, could you learn anything at work in over 2 months if you wanted to? For my preferences, I break it down into 2 types of listening while driving: Learning and Entertainment. Luckily I have both CD and tape options in my car stereo and that doubles the amount of information and media sources available to me.

Learning: I have tried the whole range from motivational tapes to actual step by step learning; the options are tremendous from learning Spanish, to Internet Marketing SEO and Traffic building courses, to starting a business or getting ready for a new or better career.

Entertainment: I bounce back and forth between subjects I really love and then others I know nothing about, like a book I have never heard of before. My newest book on tape, Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea, just got here today. I have the paper version of the book but never seem to have the time to read it, so I got the tape and will start it on my next trip to work.

Getting the info: Probably everyone you know has at least 1 book on tape they would lend you. My favorite way to get fresh info is eBay (yes I am an addict) and for a few bucks you can get a lot of audio books or training tapes and cd’s and you also have the option to resell them after you are done with them or keep them and add them to your library.

So get out there, pick a subject or just go with the authors you like... but do something in the car other then just sit there, learn something!

Gold and Treasure Hunting Hobby Forced Online Internet Marketing Website Creation

My treasure hunting, gold prospecting, metal detecting and Internet Marketing pursuits forced my wife to start a new organization site (isn’t it great to have a spouse that takes all your issues and turns them into a web site and nags you remotely instead of verbally?) Look at her idea of Getting Organized and Organizing My Life.

As is probably normal in most relationships, I did not believe there was even a problem. I could easily go into the dredge pile of equipment... the "I'll get to" rock section that probably rivals NASA’s, the metal detecting section of the basement and even into the 20 boxes of gold and treasure books organized by when I put them into the box, and eventually find what I needed. I thought this a good way to go about things because I would usually find other things I didn’t even know I had while looking for the original item that started my quest.

If you have read my first post you probably knew this was going to happen to me before I did, it started small with the IO2 pen and the Microsoft Word book software and the book organization software all presented as small helpful ideas. My thoughts are since theses loving gestures did not do the trick, Steph felt the best way was just to create the Start Organizing Today website and force my browser to come up with it as my start page (that was a good one)! I will get even by creating a buy your husband a bigger gold dredge site and making it her start page.

In writing this entry, I know the reason I got into Internet Marketing, I originally thought it was for the income, but it turns out it was to be able to reverse nag my wife, could this be a whole new way to market it and find others that need to do the same thing?

Well I've got to get back to the work am presently doing. It's an Excel worksheet that takes the current salary you are trying to replace and then factors in everything to give you the real amount needed to quit your job and do what you love! If interested, email me at GregMulac@aol.com and I'll happily send it to you free of charge in exchange for feedback on any improvements that could be made.

Lost Treasures, Gold Prospecting, Diving for Treasure, Gem Mining & Metal Detecting Goals

This will be my first attempt at starting a blog entry, yes it is my wife’s idea, and her goal is to eliminate all my excuses for not getting to the list of things that will make me happy...

Goal 1: Was to start gathering all the info available out their on gold prospecting. Lost treasures, diving for treasure, gem mining and metal detecting. I know this is no small task so the first thing she did was set me up a blog that I can get my ideas down on paper, and try to find where I eventually want to go with the info; right now I have more computer files and books and magazines on the subjects then most people would find normal.

Goal 2: Was to have me stop having hundreds of small pieces of paper all over the house with my notes that never make it to the computer. This was solved by her by buying me for Christmas a Logitech I0 2 system, this lets you write on special tablets and bring the pen home place it in a holder on the computer and it downloads everything you wrote since the last time you downloaded it. I just got that going last month and it works great! ( I know I procrastinate, I think this is why she is linking my site to her Motivational sites so I’ll read the info there.)

Goal 3: Is to take the dredge she bought me off eBay last Christmas and spend more time out running it. Living in Southwestern PA, the places and season is limited. I think my next entry will be about buying the dredge from eBay and the experience of it.

Goal 4: Is to take the 2 metal detectors I have and cause the batteries to go dead from use and not from sitting in the basement. I have Whites 5900 and a Garrett Sea hunter 2.

Goal 5: Is to spend some more time going out looking for rocks, minerals and fossils.

Goal 6: Is to get my butt in gear and start building an Internet Marketing business with my wife so we can have the time to do these things without having to go to my job that would make most normal people go nuts. Luckily she has the skills to do it and I have the desire to teach others to do what were doing because I have always believed that the only way to get to know a subject completely is to teach it to others. And if your not helping someone better themselves in some way you will never be happy. Well that’s enough for day one -- I hope to get better at this and even get others to start sharing their info and ideas.
